Continuing the commemorative actions of 60 years of the Jorge Lacerda Thermoelectric Complex, to Energy Diamond promoted, this Friday morning (26/9), the symbolic planting of 60 tree saplings in Diamante Park +Energy, in Capivari de Baixo.
The activity included the Program Diamond +Environmental Education, which since 2019 has impacted more than 50 thousand children, offering free classes on conscious consumption, environmental preservation, and sustainability. 6th and 8th grade students from the Basic Education School in the Santo André neighborhood of Capivari de Baixo participated in the action.
In line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the program seeks to stimulate a culture of environmental preservation. For Diamante Energia's Environment and Sustainability Manager, Fabio Costa, the project is a disseminator of good practices. “Our objective goes beyond raising awareness: we want to form multipliers of the environmental cause, capable of transforming the reality of our region,” he said.
With initiatives like this, Diamante Energia reinforces its commitment to uniting tradition and future, celebrating six decades of history while cultivating values that inspire future generations.
