On Wednesday evening (13), Parque Diamante + Energia hosted the inauguration ceremony of the Women's Network to Combat Cancer (RFCC) in Capivari de Baixo, with the first board of directors taking office. The new unit is sponsored by the Tubarão RFCC, which celebrated its 47th anniversary on the same day.
Diamante Energia was present at the event, represented by President Pedro Litsek, who handed over a computer donated by the company to support the activities of the new entity. The gesture was greeted with thanks by treasurer Luciane da Silva Hardessen, reinforcing the company's commitment to the cause.
“We know the difference that the Network makes in the lives of those who face cancer. For Diamante Energia, supporting this work is much more than a social action, it is part of our values to contribute to the well-being of the community that we were part of,” said Pedro.
The RFCC works to support cancer patients and their families, offering reception, information, and social mobilization for health and quality of life. Also present were the Park's president, Valdeci Algayer, and other municipal authorities, representatives of partner entities, volunteers, and community members.
