The second edition of the program included the Tubarão City Hall.

The Women Entrepreneurs Program celebrated the graduation of its second class this Thursday evening (18/9). In all, 25 women completed the training, which lasted three months with classes held at Parque Diamante +Energia. The initiative is carried out by Diamante Energia in partnership with the municipalities of Capivari de Baixo and Tubarão, Parque Diamante +Energia, CREAS, CRAS, Civil Police and Senac.

In this edition, the participants received training in the areas of baking, makeup and care for the elderly, in addition to support with free transportation, complete teaching material and an initial work kit, allowing them to work professionally. The central objective of the program is to promote women's financial independence and open paths to new opportunities in the labor market.

For Diamante Energia's Administrative and Financial Director, Luiz Ricardo de Oliveira Beatrice, the initiative goes far beyond professional qualification: “It's not just about teaching a profession. Each woman graduated from the Women Entrepreneurs Program represents a transformation that impacts the entire family and the community in which they operate,” she said.

The students also celebrated the achievement. Laureana Abreu Sodré Dorta, a graduate in the elderly care area, thanked her for the support received: “Even with all the difficulties, we arrived here with a lot of effort. We are grateful to the teachers, who patiently and with dedication shared their knowledge with us.”

The union of efforts between public and private institutions was highlighted by the authorities present. The mayor of Tubarão, Esténer Sorato da Silva Júnior, stated that the continuity of the partnership is a priority: “This was our first year in the program and we want to remain. Training women and opening new perspectives on life is as important as any great work.”

The mayor of Capivari de Baixo, Claudir Bittencourt, emphasized that the closing of this stage marks only the beginning of new achievements: “I congratulate all the graduates. This is just the beginning of many opportunities that will surely arise”.

The Women Entrepreneurs Program is coordinated by Diamante Energia's Social Responsibility area.
